The diversity in pregnancy bumps is a beautiful testament to each woman's individuality. Celebrating this extraordinary journey, we offer a custom sculpture of YOUR BUMP to symbolize your personal experience.

Based in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, we are situated within Maia Mothers Collective in Ascot. We also hold regular pop-up events in Melbourne and Sydney.

"I knew a maternity photoshoot just wasn’t my thing but how else could I commemorate my first pregnancy? After searching for ideas online, I stumbled across the SETT+MAXE'S Instagram page and was hell bent on having one of these sculptures made. Even if it meant flying to Brisbane. What a fantastic idea. During our session Libby was warm and knowledgeable. She knew all the right poses to get the best possible outcome, right down to finger placement. And for someone who has always been self-conscious of her body this experience for me was quite liberating and helps me see my body in such a positive way.10/10 worth every cent.

BOOK YOUR APPOINTMENT

You can easily check our availability through our online booking system. To secure your appointment, a $100 deposit is required, which will be subtracted from the total cost. You will only be charged the remaining balance after your appointment when you've made your material and size selections.

It's advisable to schedule your session between approximately 32 and 36 weeks of pregnancy. However, we can capture your bump at any stage.

If you're expecting multiples, you may want to arrange your appointment earlier.

In the event that you discover us at the last minute, kindly reach out to us directly, and we will do our best to accommodate you as soon as possible.

DURING THE APPOINTMENT

During your appointment, you'll have the opportunity to meet Libby, the owner of SETT+MAXE.

This session will give you the chance to experience our collection firsthand, allowing you to see, touch, and hold the pieces. It's also the perfect time to address any questions you might have.

We will guide you through various poses that are possible, and once you've made your selections, we will initiate the photography session, which typically takes just a few minutes. During this process, you'll stand very still while we photograph you. It is a standard camera and poses no harm to either the baby or the mother.

For optimal results, it's recommended to conduct the scan without wearing underwear. However, if you're not comfortable with that, you can wear seamless and light-colored underwear.

CREATION OF THE ARTWORK

Following the appointment, we take your file and prepare it for the printing or casting process. Your sculpture will be completed in roughly 12 weeks for a Classic sculpture and approx. 16-20 weeks for a bronze cast.

At this point, you can either collect the beautifully packaged artwork in person or have it sent directly to your home address, where you can choose the perfect spot in your nursery, bedroom, or living room.

Hello and welcome!

I’m Libby, a mama to two beautiful rainbow babies and the heart behind SETT+MAXE. My journey as an interior designer has blossomed into a passion for creating art that truly speaks to the soul.

Back in 2021, during my second pregnancy, I felt a deep urge to capture the extraordinary beauty of that experience. I wanted something tangible to hold onto—a keepsake that would allow me to relive those precious moments. I’m proud to say that I was the first in Australia to offer this unique service.

At SETT+MAXE, we celebrate the incredible journey of pregnancy and the many other significant milestones in life. I pour my heart into each piece, blending advanced technology with age old handcrafting and traditional bronze casting to create something truly special.
