Welcome to Muse and Little ( "we," "us," or "our" ). These Terms & Conditions ( "Terms" ) govern your use of our website and services. By accessing our website or engaging in our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms:

  • ABOUT US: Muse and Little is a Calgary, Alberta-based business specializing in bespoke pregnancy sculptures created from non-contact 3D scans. Throughout these Terms, “Muse & Little”, “we”, “our”, and “us” refer to Muse and Little.

  • ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS: By using our website or booking our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

  • BOOKING APPOINTMENTS: Appointments are confirmed only after receiving the required $100 non-refundable deposit. Appointment times are reserved exclusively for each client. The remaining balance is due prior to post-production commencing or collection/delivery of your sculpture unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • PHOTO& VIDEO CONSENT: At the time of booking, clients provide consent via a mandatory check box on the booking page to allow Muse & Little to use photographs and/or video consent of the Sculpture and session for marketing and social media purposes. All imagery will be used anonymously, meaning that no identifying personal details, UNLESS OTHERWISE CONSENTED, including your name, will ever be shared. If you DO NOT wish to provide this consent you must do so by notifying Muse & Little in writing via email within one (1) week of sculpture scanning appointment. Consent may only be withdrawn within this timeframe and must be confirmed in writing.

  • DEPOSITS: All deposits are

  • Non-refundable

  • Applied towards your final purchase price

  • Required to secure your appointment

If you choose not to proceed after booking, your deposit will NOT be refunded

  • CANCELLATION AND RESCHEDULING: We kindly require a minimum of 48 hours notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Appointments cancelled or rescheduled with less than 48 hours notice may result in the loss of the deposit. Clients who do not attend their scheduled appointment without notice (“no shows”) will forfeit their deposit. If Muse & Little must reschedule due to illness, emergency, or unforeseen circumstances, your deposit will be transferred to a new appointment date.

  • MOBILE SERVICE: Muse and Little provides mobile scanning services. Clients must provide:

  • A complete and accurate home address

  • Parking instructions if applicable

  • Any access information required before the appointment

  • A safe and clean space for both Muse and Little employee and said client for scanning

We also endeavour to accommodate appointments at hospitals or birthing centers where appropriate. Travel outside our standard service area IS subject to an additional travel fee (subject to travel outside 30 mins of Calgary city limits), which will always be discussed before confirming your appointment.

  • ARTISTIC LICENSE: Muse and Little shall be granted artistic license regarding the design and creation of each piece. The judgment of Muse and Lregarding design and the number of pieces created shall be deemed correct. 

  • ARITISTIC INTERPRETATION: All pieces are created with the utmost care and quality materials, but they may fade over time, particularly if exposed to bright sunlight without protective measures. Muse and Little cannot be held responsible for this gradual deterioration. 

  • PREGNANCY AND MEDICAL CIRCUMSTANCES: Every pregnancy is unique. If unexpected medical circumstances or early labour arise, please contact us as soon as possible. We will make every reasonable effort to accommodate an alternative appointment where feasible. While we strive to help every client preserve this special season, appointment availability cannot be guaranteed in emergency situations.

  • SCAN APPOINTMENTS: Our scans are

  • Non-contact

  • Non-invasive

  • Completed using handheld 3D scanning technology

  • Safe

Clients are responsible for following appointment instructions and communicating any concerns before or during the appointment.

  • CUSTOM PRODUCTS: Every sculpture is individually created and hand-finished in-house here in Calgary, AB. Due to the bespoke nature of our products each sulpture is unique. Minor variations in color, texture, finish, or appearance are part of the handcrafted process. Product photographs are intended as examples only.

  • PRODUCTION TIMELINE: Estimated production time is approximately 8-10 weeks following your appointment. This timeframe is an estimate only and may vary depending on production volume, holidays, material availability, or unforeseen circumstances. We will try and provide prompt updates to any changes of timelines or in likelihood of prolonged delivery.

  • PRICING: All prices are listed in Canadian Dollars (CAD). Applicable taxes are included in the prices listed. Prices are subject to change without notice; however, confirmed bookings will honor the priced quoted at time of booking. Offers and discounts can only be claimed at the time of booking and not retrospectively. New promotions and discounts cannot be applied to existing orders. Each sculpture is deemed it’s own entity, any additional orders are subject to a new $100 deposit and will be charged full price (ie: duplicates, reprints, newborn session, etc). Our pricings of sculptures do NOT include travel fees, these fees are applied to pop ups and travel to cities outside Calgary AB, and will be applied at time of invoicing.

  • TOUCH UPS: Retouching and artistic finishing are available as optional extras, and the final output and finish of any retouched image will be at Muse and Little's discretion. 

  • SHIPPING & DELIVERY: Shipping or local delivery is included where stated in your purchase. Risk transfers to the client once the sculpture has been delivered or collected. Clients are responsible for providing accurate shipping information.

  • RETURNS & REFUNDS: As every sculpture is custom-made specifically for each client. All sales are final. No refunds, exchanges, or returns are available once production has begun.

  • INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY: All website content, photographs, branding, logos, text, graphics, and designs remain the property of Muse & Little.

  • INFORMATION STORAGE: Original digital images are kept on file until such time as the order is completed and fulfilled, after which time they will be deleted unless otherwise stated by Muse and Little.

  • CLIENT IMAGES & MARKETING: Your privacy is importance to us. Muse and Little will never publish your photographs, scan dates, or images of your sculpture without your express permission. Marketing images are used only with written client consent.

  • LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: Muse and Little is not liable for delays outside our reasonable control, courier delays or shipping issues, indirect or consequential damages arising from the use of our website or services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for your booking. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you may have under applicable Canadian consumer protection laws.

  • PRIVACY: We respect your privacy. Please refer to our [Privacy Policy] for information on how we collect, use, and protect your data.

  • MODIFICATION OF TERMS: We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the website or services after changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

  • WEBSITE USES: You agree not to misuse our website, attempt unauthorized access to our systems, copy or reproduce website content, use our website for unlawful purposes.

  • GOVERNING LAW: These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes arising shall be resolved in the courts of Alberta.

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to update, change or replace any part of these Terms and Conditions by posting updates and changes to our website. It is your responsibility to check our website periodically for changes. Your continued use of or access to our website or the Service following the posting of any changes to these Terms and Conditions constitutes acceptance of those changes.
